Icey Ice Recipe (Gola Recipe)
Chocolate Gola |
Oh gosh this scorching summer!!
In India, it is very often heard these days. Minimum temperature during day over here is 34°C to 42°C which would be 90°F to 104°F. To hot to handle isn't it? Ha...Ha...Ha
Adding to this, children in India have summer vacation during this period of the year. They always demand for something cool which would give relief to the scorching summer.
Some of the common snacks to enjoy summer are ice creams, chilled fruits, mocktails, smoothies and popsicle sticks.
In India, popsicle ice sticks are know as Gola. There are two variant of golas over here. One is served in the plate while the other one is on the stick. They are served in mouth watering flavours: sweet and tangy.
Today, I am going to share with you an ice ice recipe I.e. Gola Recipe with chocolate flavor.
Ingredients required to make this are:
Crushed ice,
Chocolate syrup,
Choco chips,
Roasted Cashew nuts,
Roasted Almonds,
Cream
Mawa (reduced dry milk)
Best way to get crushed ice:
Place ice cubes in a sealable plastic bag. Grab a wooden mallet and start crushing ice with it. Be careful not to tear plastic bag. Enjoy crushing untill all ice cubes crushed.
Now, lets start with our Gola Recipe:
Firstly, place the crushed ice in middle of the plate. Try building a lump of ice in the center of the plate. Tap it tight.
Now, pour chocolate syrup and cream on the ice ball.
After which sprinkle mawa, Choco chips and roasted nuts on the yummy ice ball.
It's ready. Serve it before ice melts...
P.S. Above mentioned is the recipe for Gola in plate. You can have stick Gola with simply three ingredients : crushed ice, chocolate syrup and mawa.
You can also try same recipe in different flavors based on your choice of taste. Gola is the only pleasing word heard on the hottest day.
Happy Summer!!!
